Ciao da Tramonti is a project that invites artists to depict the Val Tramontina area with postcard-format prints distributed free in the thousands. It also organizes an artist residency, exhibitions, roundtables to explore this corner of Friuli.
My image depicts " i cestai" (the basket weavers), one of the valley’s oldest and most traditional crafts. A trade that braids straw into baskets, just as it weaves together family stories, traditions, and local tales.
